On Friday I participated in a virtual Insight Event for Browne Jacobson LLP. It was an interesting event and very helpful. It provided me with a great insight into their firm, its various legal departments, as well as the firm’s participation in charitable projects. The event also included a talk by three current trainee solicitors who provided an overview of their journey into the firm and various valuable tips on securing a training contract.
The event was an inspiring opportunity, and I will be taking all the tips provided for my future applications. This was the first virtual Insight Event that I have attended, but it was just as useful as being able to attend in person.
I highly recommend for all year students to participate in such opportunities where available, it is a great way of networking and it will provide you with better knowledge of the firm, before making your application to work with them.
